Backed by research

Brightwater is the only WA disability services provider with a dedicated Research Centre. We collaborate with national and international universities to find innovative solutions to improve the quality of the lives of people we care for.

  • 2023: Brightwater participated in a study on optimising the quality of clinical data to improve care delivery and clinical outcomes (OPTIMISE). Piara Waters’ residents benefit directly from the measures put in place as a result of this research.
  • 2021: Nutrition and Huntington’s disease: Comparison between specialised and non- specialised facilities.
