A Pathway to Connection

Inglewood Pathway Open Event

A vibrant new pathway winding through bushland has officially opened behind Brightwater Inglewood, creating a welcoming connection between the home, the neighbourhood, and nature itself.

The new space invites movement, conversation, and a greater sense of community for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

Brightwater CEO Cath Stoddart described the path as more than a physical link-it reflects Brightwater’s commitment to supporting people to thrive, connect, and belong.

"It’s not just a walkway," Cath said. "It’s part of the model of care we champion- bringing nature, independence and connection right to our doorstep."

Councillor Damien Giudici from the City of Stirling joined a fantastic turnout of residents and guests for the celebration, which concluded with morning tea and cake.

The event had a warm, relaxed atmosphere, reflecting the sense of community the pathway aims to foster.

Supported by the City of Stirling and the Friends of Inglewood Triangle, the pathway enhances accessibility and encourages interaction between residents and their local environment.

Already well used, it’s becoming a place where people pause, meet, and enjoy the outdoors - a shared space that benefits both the Brightwater Inglewood community and the wider neighbourhood. It stands as a lasting symbol of inclusion, wellbeing and thoughtful urban design.
