Support Coordination vs Specialist Support Coordination

Both of these services are designed to help you understand and implement your NDIS plan at different levels. Support coordination helps NDIS participants navigate the NDIS and connect with the right support services to make the most of their NDIS plan. Specialist support coordination, on the other hand, assists participants with complex needs overcome systemic barriers and complex formal and informal networks by establishing crisis pathways and role establishments among these networks. Both roles aim to help you achieve your goals, but a specialist support coordinator may be required when an added layer of expertise and hands-on support is required.
